As a professional modern dancer, George began practicing yoga as a way to become more flexible. He soon found there were so many more benefits - mindfulness, stress-relief, mind/body connection - that he became a yoga addict. Teaching was the next natural step for him and he loves bringing his dance background into the room.

Most embarrassing experience teaching: It was one of the first times teaching a hot yoga class. I was standing over a student in childs pose, giving them an assist, when I felt something dripping down and off the corner of my upper lip. I immediately knew that my nose was bleeding and I lifted my hand to catch it mid air. Thankfully nothing got on this unsuspecting student and I kept the class in childs pose for what felt like an eternity while I tried to stop the bleeding. I pretty much taught the rest of the class from the back of the room out of sight. Thankfully, it has never happened again!
