Class Style:

Toya played team sports since she was a child (field hockey, softball, and swimming) but didn’t realize how important maintaining her overall physical and mental health was until she had children. Pregnancy, childbirth and long term sleep deprivation can wreak havoc on your body and mind. After discovering the peace, joy and balance that yoga can bring to a sleep deprived mother of two children, she knew she had stumbled upon something sacred and magical. She believes that yoga truly is for every BODY because it meets you where you are and grows with you over time.

What’s your favorite thing about Studio 360? Combining the heart pulsing rhythm of cycling with the intentional, breath-based movement of yoga is a great way to build and nurture a holistic approach to health and wellness. 

If there was one thing you would tell your students, what would it be? Be open to the evolution of your yoga practice over time. Your practice is not a task to complete or a final destination. Try to approach the various elements of yoga (asana and meditation) as a free flowing journey that seeks out the twists and turns of a winding road so that you can find joy, peace and balance.
